Buttercup

Vintage guilloche always catches me eye when I'm out on the hunt.  If it's yellow, I HAVE to have it! 

The intricate pendant hangs from silver plated leaves and hand wired vintage, buttery beads.  Silver links and teeny, tiny, pink Czech glass beads break up the color a bit.  This necklace closes with a hook clasp, so the length is adjustable.

Guilloché (or guilloche) is a decorative technique in which a very precise, intricate and repetitive pattern is mechanically engraved into an underlying material via engine turning, which uses a machine of the same name, also called a rose engine lathe.
