The art deco style of the 20s originated in Paris. 

Sometimes when you're scavenging you only find 1 piece of a pair.  That's what happened with the prism shaped piece dangling on the bottom of this necklace.  I'm pretty sure it was a pair of earrings at one time.  The black glass and rhinestone "flower" is a vintage clip on earring (it did have a match that I've used in another piece).  The asymmetrical chain is made up of hand wired black glass beads, rhinestone beads, and a piece of vintage rhinestone and silver link chain.  This beauty closes with a ring clasp.
